Yamanashi is most famous peach-growing area in Japan.
Now Kofu basin is based on pink carpet now

The Cherry blossoms are in full bloom in Kofu.
Today the temperature is 29 degree, hot day!

Shingen koh Matsuri

Shingen koh Matsuri will hold in Kofu from Apr. 6 to 8 this year.

On Friday night the festival has "Hohtoh" which is famous local food in Yamanashi for 100 yen

, and wine & drinks FREE!

It features a magnifient Samurai parade in the Saturday evening.

I will take part in hiking as "Furusato Walk in Kofu" on Sunday morning.

Kai Zenkoji

Original Zenko-ji is located in Nagano next to Yamanashi.

Kai Zenko-ji was build by Takeda Shingen who was famous warrior and governed

old Yamanashi and Nagano area. Shingen worried the lost of Buddist images and so on.

He move them to there.

"Okaidan meguri" is very interested in. We were walking in the dark and the route is shaped

by The Kanji of "Kokoro", Kokoro means "mind" or "heart" in English.

If you can touch the key(called "happiness key") in it, it brings the happiness to you.

Half day Tour in Kai Zenkoji

This tour is Free of charge. You must pay your transporation expenses.

Date of the Tour : Mar.11 ,2007 from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Hikari no Pyusis

Hikari no Pyusis helds until Feb. 14 in Kofu castle park.
